Varallo
Vineyards is more than a vineyard, it is a "destination".
After four years of research and a test vineyard the Varallo's
determined that the best grape to grow on the property would
be a Riesling variety. The process began and over 7 acres of
vines were planted. A second vineyard of Pino Noir was also planted
and both will become Springlake Winery's signature wines.
Your
gathering or ours, we offer a premier destination along the
trail, including our exclusive Vineyard Express train rides, with Music by the
Lake the last Sunday of the month May through
October and outdoor accommodations to handle weddings
and an array of events. Other
attractions that can be part of your experience include the Wine
Barrel Gift Shop, home to many crafts as well as cookies made with a unique
Italian recipe that use a chocolate, orange, and nut grape filling. |

"Three
Generations...One Dream" Dr.
Varallo made wine in his father's basement from the age of
eight. He continued that tradition with his family, making
wine in the family basement until the winery was built. The
Varallos' children assist with all aspects of the winery, vineyard
and wine making, taking the tradition into the third generation. |
