Rich Andrea Carr Negie loved to throw parties. This year, she’s decided that a Halloween ball would be just the event Aragain Society needed. Her husband, Morgan Pierpoint Negie, know that the most important words he could say were, “Yes, dear.”
The night of the party arrived and guests followed Andrea’s instructions to the letter. They all arrived in costume, including masks, at their variously scheduled times, invitation in hand. Although Andrea and Morgan attempted to be vigilant about checking the invitations, a few gate crashers slipped in. That is when the trouble began. One gate crasher, the famous Kelly Grace, who left Aragain years ago vowing to never return, snuck through as the guest of Judge James Jesse, the town’s most eligible bachelor.
After all the guests arrived, Andrea was ready to formally begin the festivities when she received devastating news: her “best” friend, Louise Tina “Ginger” Summers, was going to use the occasion, and Andrea’s money, to hold her surprise wedding. Kelly had actually returned to be her sister’s maid of honor.
The festivities came to halt when Kelly Grace’s body was found in the bathtub. She had been stabbed with a wedding cake knife and covered with towels.
Each of the guests had history with Kelly - some less positive than others. But would that drive them to kill? Who could have murdered Aragain’s most famous export?
